Last night I was stuck in touristville on the waterfront and in dire need of a mellow place with good food and beer. We landed at Collins Pub and spent a few hours hanging out on their patio.

Veggie food that tastes good

I love eating here. I have never had a bad meal. I usually take my laptop and hang out for an hour or two. The portions are good and it tastes great. My favorite sandwich is the artichoke melt. I also love their smoothies.

Great spot for Appetizers and Wine

I dig this place. Great vibe. It feels open and fresh. The type of people I bump into here tend to be of the yuppy-ish or mingling singles variety. The pricing on the appetizers was not bad at all. I have sat at the bar and also back in the dining room. I had great service at both spots.

What else can you ask for...

Great pot pies and good beer in a mellow setting. My favorite thing to order is the soft pretzels. They also have live bluegrass and jazz twice a week. This is a great place to spend some time with a good friend.
