For late night study parties...

Coffee Bean is a great place to get out of your apartment, a breath of fresh air. I think it is a great place to study, relax, observe people, make small talk, hang out. The one on La Cienega is open until Midnight!! They have all kinds of great drinks - I recommend the Jasmine Dragon Pheonix Pearl Tea Latte - it is incredibly sweet, tastes like candy.

Salad Pizza

Bistango is a casual restaurant - no reservations necessary, no dress code. It serves Italian food - a variety of pizza and pasta choices. I got a meatball sub once and it was not very good - I do not recommend any of the sandwiches. Prices are decent and on certain days they have specials for pitchers of beer. However, the only thing I am here to promote is the Salad Pizza: It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
