Geno's Steaks
Philadelphia, PA"This Is AMERICA: WHEN ORDERING Please 'SPEAK ENGLISH'"
Says it all in my opinion... Geno's Whiz Wit... melts in your mouth. Iconic establishment with a what you see is what you get attitude. This my friends is Phila-f'n-delphia personified.
Pat's King of Steaks
Philadelphia, PAWhiz wit?
Forget about it... Pat's is Da Bomb when it comes to Steak Sandwiches. Not hatin' on Geno's but Pat's got this one. If you visit Philly and don't hit up Pat's... you should root for the Cowboys.
I Cugini
Santa Monica, CACugini Sanata Monica... Mama Mia
I'm from Philly and I'm pretty particular about my Italian food. My wife and I were strolling up Ocean Blvd in Santa Monica and for whatever reason decided to check this place out. Wow... am I glad we did. My wife had the Big Eye Tuna dish and absolutely loved it.... I had their lasagna with spinach noodles. Oh my freakin' gawd.... best lasagna I've EVER had. AMAZING folks... you've got to have it. Had some Cuvaison Chardonnay as well and a nice side salad. Reasonable price... back patio is really cool if there's room.
Katsuya
Los Angeles, CAKatsuya Rocks
I was able to take in Katsuya with some friends the other night and it was everything people had made it out to be and more. The sushi was ridiculous and the setting was super chic. I'll be back for sure.
Baci Italian Bistro
Gilbert, AZMamma Mia
Great little Italian joint in a new shopping center in Queen Creek. Not the greatest location, but the restaurant (newly built) is really cool inside and the food is incredible. Love the service too... feels like a family run business. Lots of homemade pastas and pizzas. I personally like the lasagna and pasta paisano.
