As it has been known since before I could drink. Stands for Ballard's Best Burgers and Beer. I don't know about the burger part as I've never eaten there, but the booze doth flow! Taz is the best bartender, there is never a cover, the pour is heavy and they have myriad activities to keep your drunk ace occupied (Golden Tee, Buck Hunter, darts, pool, TV, etc). Ah the Bs...its a love/drunk relationship.

My favorite restaurant in Seattle!

Theirry Rautureau had put together one of the most inviting pre fixe french restaurants in town. The menu is suburb, seasonal, and always perfectly executed. I recommend going with the sommelier's wine pairing if you are not much of a wine aficionado as their bible-sized cellar can be a bit overwhelming.

And if you're gawking at the price - I assure you, it is worth every succulent penny!

If you like dives...

This is the place for you! I just went there for the first time over the weekend and it was great! Our bartender was awesome! Within 5 minutes of being there '80 Metallica came on the sound system and a very stiffly poured glass of whiskey was in front of me. It was great! highly recommended.

No cover, No Meat-heads, just good old fashion bar flies!
