Good place. It sucks that you have to go outside and smoke, but there's still after all these years, a bunch of old Groveites who hang and share their stories.
The beer is reasonably priced, and the food always good.
I miss a few of the cooks that used to be there, but as restaurants go, so do staff.
This one has stuck around.
The college crowds hit late at night on the weekends, so if that's not your gig, stay at home and drink. It's safer.
Besides, you might want to go on a cigarette run to Kwik-Stop across Grand avenue at that hour and get mugged.

The only thing missing here is bottled beer, I like my Bud in the bottle, other than that they've got plenty of brands on tap and full liquor.
The food is good and reasonably priced. Awesome cheeseburgers!
Plenty of sports on their many televisions.

Good hang-out.

Always laid back. Well not always, sometimes you can see how hurried the staff seems to be when the place is standing room only.
The food is good and quite inexpensive.
You can't beat the view either.
And there is live music on the weekends, Be sure to catch Kevin Hurley on Sundays if you like a bit of the classic rock and roll tunes mixed even with a few newer ones.
During the rainy season bring your mosquito repellent. I didn't see Deet anywhere on the menu.
