Wynkoop 38 Tavern & Grill
Denver, CONew Name: Hospoda Bar and Grill
Went here yesterday after playing Ultimate Frisbee in the area. The operator was friendly and generous. The outside may look like a mexican prison but the inside feels like your neighbors' basement pub. The place is small, just one square room but it is freshly remodeled and well lit. Stella on tap and served in the authentic glass.
Give it a try if you find yourself on the wrong side of the tracks in that area...
Casa Bonita
Denver, CORequirement
Those of us who came here as kids probably have an exaggerated view but it is worth a visit if only for the cliff divers and sopapillas.
For bonus points and fun, watch the Southpark episode before you go:

Aviano Coffee
Denver, COMy benchmark
Whenever I get coffee from anywhere else I immediately compare it to Aviano. The staff here really knows what they are doing and they take the job very seriously. You'll get freshly ground beans each shot and the quality of a hand-operated press.
One step into this place and you'll never visit a Starbucks again, fact.
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Aurora, COSurely no introduction needed...
...at least for those living in Denver. This particular Chipotle was the first one I visited almost 10 years ago. I still eat here at least once a week. It also happens to be the place I usually grab a Westword (a truthful plug!).
I really enjoy the food and appreciate their use and promotion of natural and organic food. The staff here is good, it is extremely rare that I get a light burrito or slow service.
