Los Jarritos
San Francisco, CABeing from Phoenix, I have a taste for authentic, delicious Mexican food. And, I must say, this place is one of the better places I've found in San Francisco. The beans are creamy, but not runny, the carne asada has a great flavor, overall a good experience. I will definitely come back here for my Mexican food fix.
La Trappe
San Francisco, CAThis bar has a great atmosphere! You descend into the bar via a winding staircase and enter into a cavernous-like room. Beer lovers, rejoice! They have something like 250 beers in the bottle and about 15 rotating taps. The bartenders are very helpful and friendly- they will let you try before you buy, which is great. Every time I go, I try something new. I ask one of the bartenders for a suggestion, tell them what I'm in the mood for (dark, light, hoppy, etc) and they always serve up a winner. Great place!
Polkers Gourmet Burgers
San Francisco, CAUsually, we come here for breakfast- breakfast burrito, Joe's special, biscuits and gravy, pancakes... pretty much the entire menu is awesome. For dinner, the Mexican burger is the way to go- beef and chorizo patty with pico de gallo, and avocado- so delicious!
Nick's Crispy Tacos
San Francisco, CAThe carnitas tacos made "Nick's Way" are delicious! Guac, pico de gallo, and lots of carnitas make these messy, but so worth it! The quesadillas, flautas, and burritos are good too, but I keep coming back to the tacos.
