Serious Pie
Seattle, WAGet Cozy, eat some Serious Pie
My favorite eatery in Seattle. A tiny restaurant with community tall tables, fantastic wine and seriously, the best thin crust delicious pizza I've ever had. Try and be seated at the end of the long tables near the window for some good people watching. Well worth any kind of wait you will endure.
Little Man Ice Cream
Denver, COBest spot in town for a refeshing summer treat
Little Man ice cream looks like its straight out of the 1930's with its building shaped like an old school milk can. Located right behind Lola. Serves ice cream and sorbet that is SO delicious. Great outdoor seating and stunning view of the city from the sidewalk. Balloon machine for the kids. Don't mind the line because its worth the wait. Mexican Chocolate! Get out of here. Best malt you have ever had? Yep. Seriously do you have something better to do on a warm summer night than chill out, sit still for a moment and enjoy this crazy cool city we live in? If so, you need to relax more than I do.
Miz Zip's
Flagstaff, AZOld school greasy diner
Miz Zips is where you go when you want simple food at simple prices with awesome locals. The place is literally a shack on the side of the road in the middle of East Flag. You wanna get down and dirty with the locals. This is where you do it.
Bun Huggers
Flagstaff, AZDIY Burgers before DIY was cool
There simply is no better place in Flagstaff to get a hamburger, hotdog, fries or onion rings than Bun Huggers. Made to order and then a full condiment, sides bar to make your burger the way you want it. I love this place and try to hit it every time I go home. Its sort of like sitting in a barn too, which is cool, when you are eating cow.
Swimclub 32
Denver, COWhen you are feeling more fancy but still don't want to leave the n'hood.
Great little neighborhood spot with more of a cosmopolitan vibe. I like this place for a light dinner (tapa's are extraordinary) and drink before heading home. I'm all about ambiance and this place has it nailed with moody light, sleek furniture and the absolutely required roll up front windows in the summer time.
