I don't really believe in labels, but if I had to describe who Mark Taylor Jackson is, the first thing that pops to mind is: lover. I'm also a poet, sculptor, political activist, purveyor of arts and pop culture memorabilia, an avid fitness enthusiast, and collector of exotic, fur-lined jackets.

Oh yeah, you might also know me from TV. I play the title role in Yo, Teach (on NBC this fall, Tivo alert!) I'm also going to appear in a few upcoming movies (gotten a bunch of callbacks, just waiting for someone to pull the trigger!) and one day plan on running a major Hollywood studio.

People always assume because I'm in the public eye and my world just exploded in the past year that I'm some sort of egotistical, out-of-touch, jerk. But, as my friends will attest, that couldn't be further from the truth. I don't know where this wild ride is gonna end, but Mark Taylor Jackson is just gonna keep on being Mark Taylor Jackson. It's worked so far, right? Peace.

If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation (just say you’re calling from Mark Taylor Jackson’s office – it works for my assistant!) this is one of the best eateries in town. Mouth-watering cheese, delicious pizza and a wine list that makes me want to get into wine and buy a home with a wine cellar (which I will do one day.)
