Some of the best BBQ in Houston and that's saying something.
Chicken, ribs, brisket, jalapeno bread, sausage, turkey sausage, etc.
I usually go to the one on I-10.
Reef

Been here multiple times, I'm not a big seafood lover but Reef makes seafood great.
They also have very good appetizers.

You can see the Chatahoochie river from the porch at Canoe. Great views. Wonderful food, I had the rabbit, the seafood looked good (not a big fan of fish) and the meal overall was spectacular.
You need a reservation to get in most nights.
