About King FOE

As a kid with an innate talent for the arts, F.O.E. would scribble in his "Big Chief" notebook and entertain his classmates in the halls at school with his witty lyrics and theatrics. Inspired by artists such as Scarface, E-40, UGK, Tupac, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Jackson, F.O.E’s career began as a member of a local neighborhood performance group.
In 2001 the charismatic, controversial, insightful, and outspoken lyricist decided the time was right to launch his solo career. Collaborating on his first solo effort with longtime friend and producer 800 the Jewell, F.O.E. began his quest toward becoming King of the Mountain with the goal of making Jewell Tyme Music a household name.

The 15-track promo CD "Welcome” released in 2007 was the result of that declaration. Birthing the cult classics ‘Lee Lee’ and ‘11 O’clock’ F.O.E. was found himself in demand for shows and feature appearances. Performing an average of three shows a week and featuring on twelve albums in a year’s time was evidence of true dedication to the craft.

In 2008, F.O.E. released a collaboration mixtape called “Drama Kings” with friend and label mate B Blacc from Dankside Entertainment. The CD was named “Best Mixtape Collaboration” by Denver’s Finest Magazine and received critical acclaim in Denver’s Westword as one of the “hottest CD’s of the year.” F.O.E. was also nominated by the publication for Colorado’s Best MC of 2008 and was a featured performer in the invitational showcase that same year.
In 2009 F.O.E. recieved the award for Westword's Best Hip Hop MC after dropping King of the Mountain at the end of 2008. The project earned solid reviews and high praises adding Westword’s “Movers and Shakers of 2008” and one of Colorado Music Buzz’s “Artists on the Verge of Greatness” to the MC’s list of accomplishments.
F.O.E.’s first full-length album, "Welcome: A New Beginning," is set for release in spring of 2010. The album features future hood classics ‘Tha Box’, ‘Why I Do,’ and ‘Fatal’ featuring singer Allison Wright
