This converted post office is a great place for lunch or dinner. The menu isn't huge, but they have great sandwiches, small plates and a good wine selection. It is usually pretty crowded and lively and really fun when the nights get warm in Phoenix, as one wall of the restaurant is completely open.

This is the best sushi in L.A., don't be surprised by the fact that it is in a strip mall. The staff is really helpful and friendly and the sushi is so fresh, it melts in your mouth. Make a reservation and expect to be wowed.

The dover sole at Il Sole is the reason to go here. It is so juicy and delicious. I suggest sitting on the patio if the weather is good, although the paparazzi usually stakes out this restaurant, making it kind of annoying. Definitely make a reservation.

The Chateau is a fun place to have dinner. The garden is beautiful and very intimate and definitely the place to be if the weather is warm. Definitely make a reservation though. They won't even let you into the hotel if you aren't on the list downstairs.

The Phoenician is complete luxury. There are beautiful pools and great restaurants. The Thirsty Camel is a great place to get a drink, even if you aren't staying at the hotel. Most of the bar is outside and has the most gorgeous view of Phoenix.
