The Magic Castle/The Academy of Magical Arts
Hollywood, CAIf you haven't been
you need to go. I can't even remember how I got in, I just remember having to use a secret password. My only regret is leaving.
Giovanni's Trattoria
Culver City, CAA pleasant surprise
in a crummy shopping center in the crummy part of Culver City. Parking is scarce, but the food is tasty and the service is friendly. Try the chicken ravioli or bowtie salmon pasta. They don't serve any booze, but the owner will let you bring your own wine if you are discreet.

Inn of the Seventh Ray
Topanga, CAA magical place
without any wizards are wands. It's worth the drive because Topanga itself is a cool place. Get there early to check out some of the local shops. The bass player from Tool owns a record shop there. A great place for a Valentine's dinner, reserve one of the sought after gazebo's if you can and get ready to relax...
The Sink
Boulder, CORobert Redford
used to wait tables here, so you can certainly take the time to sit at one! Bring your magic marker to sign the ancient walls that echo many a drunken, post-game night.
Rao's at Caesars Palace
Las Vegas, NVAn old school
eatery in an old school casino. Rao's always makes you feel right at home (assuming you grew up like Ray Liotta in Goodfellas). Can't say enough about the meatballs and you might even be lucky enough to witness a Caesars wedding taking place right outside your window. Ah... Firenze... wait, I mean Vegas. Ah, Vegas....
