Good place to take the goalposts

I used to love Harpo's. How can you not? It's a Mizzou landmark and you get absolutely tanked for less than $8 on Thursday nights. But lately I can't stand how crowded it is. You can't even move and it takes for ever to get a drink. Used to be my favorite bar, but now I prefer Shiloh.

I feel like it's just not the same since we can't tear down the goalpost and march 'em up to Harpo's anymore.

Probably the best patio in Columbia. The rickety wood fence a little busch league though.

Best Beer Bar in Columbia

The food is great but the real reason I go is for the mind blowing beer. There is always something new when I go in. I've never had a bad brew at this place. That's probably a reason why it was named in Esquire Magazine's list of Best Bars in America.

For such great, draft beer I would gladly pay double the $3.00 for a pint. If you get there around Christmas, the winter spice is maybe one of the best things ever put in a glass.
