In the warehouse district of New Orleans (AKA out of the Quarter and away from tourist). A typical night at The Red Eye consist of walking in the door around 11pm and going straight to the dance stage until about 5am. No lie! They always come out with a strong play list.

Can't say enough positive things about their menu. The prices are unbelievably inexpensive...my favorite entree (fried green tomatoes, side of grilled asparagus toped with a skewer of grilled shrimp) is only $10!!
Very cool atmosphere with Bob Marley-ish artwork and extrememly laid back staff.

One of the best places to eat in New Orleans. It is not a tourist attraction and therefore serves REAL authentic creole food. The menu changes per season...so you know the ingredients and recipes are fresh! Have eaten there numerous time sand honestly have never had a bad dish. They do not take reservations so get there early (before 7)
