Domo Restaurant
Denver, COSome of the best food in Denver, as long as you are polite
This is one of the best restaurants in Denver. Certainly the best Japanese food and the best sushi (although its not standard). The Zen Garden is amazing, sit outside if you can.
Understand the chef and staff are very proud of their traditions and they are not always flexible with requests. We asked for hot sauce once and were told, "the food is perfect as it is".
The thing is, they were right.
If you can, check out the Aikido studio next door and some of the humanitarian efforts put on by the owners of Domo.
Sushi Den

Next to Domo, this is the best sushi place in Denver and Domo really is something different.
The atmosphere and food are fantastic, the fish is always fresh. Waiting for a table can sometimes be an issue and there is not much room to wait so call ahead.
Thai Basil

Thai Basil has a menu that is more about Thai and Asian fusion style than being true Thai food. Their food is very good and their decor will bring you back home to southeast asia. A great dining experience.
Cherry Cricket

The Cherry Cricket has a great beer selection and fantastic custom hamburgers. A great lunch escape in the cherry creek area.
Steuben's

I kept thinking that my grandma must be in the back cooking. The food is fantastic and the environment casual and relaxing. The skirt steak was delicious, the fried chicken looked great. It doesn't look like a kids place but the staff is great with kids and they have an AMAZING kids menu. I will definitely be going here again.
