33's fresh mozzarella is awesome. Plus, they're open until 4. Tasty treats.
Sushi Yasuda
New York, NYFresh is tight.
You must sit in front of Chef Yasuda and order at the bar. It's very pricey, but very worth it. Mostly all sushi with a couple rolls. You tell him what you don't like, and he just keeps making it until you say stop. 3 of us ate there for dinner and walked out with a $420 bill including tip.. with only 1 drink.

I never went here as a student, but I finally made it a few years ago and was blown away! The porterhouse is simply amazing, and my friend had the filet which was her fave as well. They spend all their money on the beef because the sides are pretty basic. Ready made salads from the grocery and really plain baked potatoes.

Old School. Definitely ask for a seat upstairs. You'll see cougars and/or hookers hanging at the bar, and you can have a great steak as well.
