Burger served on an english muffin? Brilliant. Has changed the way i make them at home. Smallish but not dive-y bar just down from the Arclight, good selection of Belgian beers. Also try the sweet-potato fries. Kind of feels like a NYC bar.

Well, best $130 steak i've ever had... maybe only $130 steak... Waygu / Kobe... that kind of thing. Kobe carpaccio was amazing, Great service, and you can't beat the novelty of Wolfgang Puck walking around and coming up to the table to say hi. Ambiance is anti-steakhouse, spare, open and contemporary, good for watching the beautiful people!

Great cheap falafel place in the NYU area, near "The Room" and other Village bars. Entire place is about the size of my kitchen, usually with a line out the door but they move fast... worth the 5 min wait, then you can hang out on the sidewalk and people-watch. On my must-hit list every time I'm in NYC

made me want to learn how to cook steak the way they do- where they keep cooking on super-hot plates after the grill... similar to Peter Luger's but better, based on the one time I went there.
