I don't really stay in hotels in Los Angeles, but I'd recommend this one. Rock stars and models go here, so that rocks. Can't go wrong with that. It's also in a good location in the heart of Sunset Boulevard.
Jinky's Cafe

I used to live right around here and used to go here all the time. I knew all the waiters. It was my go-to breakfast spot. Still love it even though I don't live around here anymore. There is also one in West Hollywood and Sherman Oaks. Very popular place.

It's a really cool dive bar type place with great burgers.
Larchmont Village Wine & Cheese

Small selection but all are good. I like the sandwich with the thinly sliced salami. It's good stuff. You can also shop and get a bottle of wine while you're here.
Mastro's Steakhouse
Beverly Hills, CAMy go-to steak place
This is one of those places you have to take your parents when they come into town. You know how it is. They have fantastic side dishes! Great atmosphere.
