Coley's is a great place to grab lunch during work, or after if you have had a long day. With a full bar and a very social staff, its fun to go in and grab a bite, a drink, or both. Its usually very empty, so the food is quick, and the staff will keep you entertained.
Addison's An American Grill

I must recommend the Super Deluxe Happy Fun Time Burger! It sounds weird when you read it on the menu, but its amazing. Its like every course of your meal in one. In fact, I would go as far as to say, its all you'll need!

CCs is arguably the best steak in Columbia. Their cucumber wrapped salad is a large portion, and tastes wonderful. Yes, it is probably on of the most expensive restaurants in Columbia as well, but I think its worth it. Just find someone that will treat you (in my case I wait until my parents are in town). Go for the Chairman of the Board. Its their steak, add any of their rubs or toppings, and get the jalapeño twice baked potato! You'll be full and maybe even have some left overs...

Tellers has a great location so on many occasions, I have come home late form work and decided to pop in for a quick bite. Its great. Sort of pricy, but the Prime Rib Dip is un-believable. Plus, you get sweet potato chips and a drink from the full bar and what more could someone want?
On The Rocks
Columbia, MO"OTR"
On The Rock -- aka OTR, is arguably one of the better bars in Columbia. It has decent drink specials, great staff, perfect location, and legal aged drinkers. For those of us in the 21-24 year old range, it is great to find a bar with the good location, that you don't have to worry about the underage crowd.
