Still one of the best hotels in SD. They've just remodeled it so the rooftop beach bar and pool are even nicer. Love the rooms here. W's always a good way to go for a modern, chic experience.

Great Vegetarian Mexican food. Again... I'm a salsa girl, so that's what I judge each mexican restaurant by... and this place has a good one. Plus it's healthy. Mix that with the gorgeous Frida Kahlo artwork covering the walls and vines hanging from the ceiling and you've got a perfect haven to escape to for lunch or dinner and a yummy meal. Mexican's my comfort food!

Authentic and fresh Spanish tapas, mixed with some wine or sangria then downstairs for live music and salsa dancing til you're dripping with sweat. A unique experience in downtown SD. Makes me want to go back to Spain every time!!

Super sexy date place. Very textured and modern, but warm, decor. The food's an insanely brilliant mix of flavors from around the world on the 33rd parallel. Great to have Italian Mediterranean influences as well as some Latin flair and a perfect Turkish coffee to wind up the meal. Yum and fun... makes you wanna experiment and lose yourself in the hidden world they've created.
