The Sycamore House is nestled in the sleepy town of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. It is an old house converted into a quaint little restaurant. The food is a taste of the Gulf Coast with lots of seafood dishes. The staff was warm and friendly. A great place for a date!

The Landing Grill and Sushi Bar overlooks the lake in Westlake Village. The sushi bar is small and has excellent choices for their specials. I love their Vegas roll and Hot Night roll.

The start to your French Quarter tour

I always do lunch at the Crescent City Brewhouse when I visit the city. Located on Decatur Street, its a perfect place to start your French Quarter tour. There is parking directly across the street and it is within walking distance of everything one would want to see. People watching is ideal if you can get a table on the their quaint balcony. For food, I recommend either Oysters on the half shell or Baked Oysters Three Ways to start, paired with an ice cold Pilsner or Black Forest!

Abita Brew Pub is nestled in the sleepy town of Abita Springs, Louisiana. About 45 minutes outside of New Orleans on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The drive is truly worth the unique dining experience. The food is an assortment of Louisiana cuisine...I highly recommend the Brewers BBQ Crab Claws and the Seafood Stuffed Eggplant Pireau. My favorite beers are the Purple Haze and TurboDog. Yummy!
