Favorite LA hotel

This hotel is my home away from home. This hotel doesn't even seem like it could possibly be located in the hustle and bustle of LA. My favorite are the junior suites by the pool that are nestled against the canyon. You can get breakfast served out on your private patio and the service is beyond fantastic. I have had a hard time finding service like theirs anywhere else. I love their small bar for evening drinks. There can be some great people watching too. Their landscaping is like no other and am still caught off guard by how beautiful the hotel is every time I arrive.

Best Italian!

I went to Devito's with a group of girlfriends our first night out in Miami. The service was great, and our food was even better. We sat in the outdoor covered patio, which I would recommend over the inside if its nice. It was a fun scene that we all really enjoyed. We started off by building our own seafood tower which was amazing. My friend and I both got the seafood pasta, and even though we were completely stuffed from our seafood tower we managed to eat the whole thing. We even decided to do dessert and ended up getting the cotton candy! It was the coolest dessert I have ever had at a restaurant. They came out with a giant cotton candy cone on a tray with gummy bears all over the plate. We were definitely in a sugar coma for the rest of the night. All in all the service and food completely blew away our expectations and we'll all definitely be going back on our next trip. Probably twice!

Best BBQ

The best comfort food in the world for a midwest girl. I crave their baked cheesy corn on a weekly basis and the spicy wings are great too. It is a very casual restaurant and if you have a small group you can just walk in. My family always goes here over thanksgiving and it's everyones favorite part. You can take big groups, but you'll need a reservation. Their onion rings are a great appetizer as well. Hands down the best BBQ I have ever had.

Best Steak

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. You do need reservations even for small groups. It is a trendy crowd so the dress is not casual. I love their steak and their staff was extremely friendly and more than happy to make great recommendations. For dessert the fried oreo's are a must! We also had drinks here before going out one night and had a lot of fun as well at the bar.
