Great Seafood...oddly expensive prices considering its served on a paper plate, BUT it simple and fresh. You sit outdoors on picnic tables and the inside word is to bring your own candles, wine, tablecloth and set up your own picnic....with a sunset ocean view

The food here is terrible....the service might be even worse, but this place is solely about Location...you can eat and drink on the sand...although we love to bring our kids here in the summer, the end up digging up more cigarrette butts than seashell, so bring the Purell. But for lunch on a sunny day, it cant be beat...like a beach club.

Healthy To Go Cafe

I cant say enough about this place being a refreshing little surprise tucked next to a great nail salon (with $90 microdermabrasion and oxygen facials!) and Charlie the Tailor (truly the best in LA) Every day is a different homemade recipe of flavored lemonade, Blueberry Mint; Peach Ginger; Strawberry, Watermelon...but their comfort food is gourmet (french?) and crazy good...Turkey Pot Roast, Short Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Carrot Ginger Pistachio Salad....all very original and unexpected and delicious. Mini red-velvet cupcakes and other sinful things. I go out of my way to stop in here at least once a week.

Live Music

The Canyon Club is old school Valley..just thru the Canyon from Malibu, its a really casual place, not at all your typical LA club. Check the lineup to see concerts by vintage favorites like Pat Benatar, Styx, REO Speedwagon and during the week it's home to the 70's and 80's cover bands The Boogie Knights and Spazmatics. Its a perfect place to go in summer with a group of friends and not worry about who you'll see and how you're dressed. Love this place!
