My favorite beach in the Los Angeles area

I grew up in Hawaii, so I love the beach. I went to school at Pepperdine, and Zuma is kind of close to the school, so I went here a lot. It’s clean. It’s not as crowded if you go on the right day. It’s peaceful. It’s quiet. You want to feel like you can just relax and just kind of be to yourself and have some privacy, so I really like Zuma because of that.

You can get real intense good barrels here. It closes out a lot, but when you do get a good one, it could be one of your best barrels ever.
