Whether you drink or not, you can hang out at this outdoor bar. It's on the boardwalk in Mission Beach, and there's this mechanical wave - it's got like an 8-foot barrel - and you can either surf yourself or watch people surf. There's maybe 2 other waves in the country - but the biggest, best is in San Diego at the Wave House.

It's got a real fun atmosphere. They have good bands and DJ's sometimes. There's a standing wave that you can ride and it simulates a surfing wave and it's a blast. They have big events every weekend - bikini shows, viewings of surf videos, stuff like that.
