Wash Park

Great park in the heart of Denver. Good for walking, biking, running, picnicing...

I love this place. It's one of the most beautiful places in all of Denver if you ask me.

this place is a mad house on nice days. in a good way though.

the wide bike path is great on less-crowded days and is easily accessible via the cherry creek bike path

If you love people (and puppy) watching, this is the place!! Not to mention, soaking up the desert sun.

on the corner of downing an kentucky is where you can play volleyball every weekend. everywhere from 2 man serious play to coed jungle ball. the best place to get outside on a nice summer day.

Used to live right on the park and miss it as pare of my routine. I don't care what kind of day it is there are always people here. The outer loop is 2.65 miles and a perfect distance to meet and run with friends in any weather.

Bike touring

I like to ride from Confluence Park up Cherry Creek and take a mini detour now and then to Wash Park and just people watch and enjoy the place for awhile. Riding through the adjoining neighborhoods is great fun too! That's my major bike ride buddy Carl in the pictures.

This is hands down the best park in Denver! Its especially great because there is a path that goes all the way around the park for those of us that like to bike, run, and rollerblade!

Best Park in Denver

While it can get pretty crazy on a nice Sunday afternoon, this place is centrally located to both Old S. Gaylord and Pearl street, both happenin spots for shopping, drinking and eating. I also seem to run into at least one person I know everytime I'm here be it on the volleyball courts, running or bbq-ing.

Twice around is about 5 miles and you can call it a day!

Something magical about this park... always puts me in a great mood...

I've been going to barbecues here since I was a little kid. Wash Park holds a special place in my heart. It's always filled with people and there is a great energy about the place.

Perfect park for all occasions... whether you want to get wasted, exercise, or relax, Wash Park is the place to be!
