In October of last year, I was in San Francisco for a marathon, and I found out that Kings of Leon were playing a 2 night stand at the Warfield. The venue is very comparable to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville - in fact, it feels more like a Southern church than a California music spot. KOL's music resonated beautifully in the old theater. If you ever find yourself that far west, make sure to check out the Warfield's schedule. And watch out for the crazy San Franciscans who wander the city's streets in the late night hours.
