Great food, drinks and atmosphere

I'm from Texas and LOVE tex mex food, so it's been hard for me to find tex mex or mexican food in L.A. that's edible, but I love this place. It has a cool, funky vibe/atmosphere. It's fun to sit at the bar and drink, and I love the food here. You'll get full off the trio of dips they bring out with the chips - the bean dip is the BEST! I'm a quesadilla connoisseur, and the veggie quesadillas with chicken are my all-time favorite. I almost alwsays get this, but my friends who get other dishes have always loved their food. Reservations are smart. Valet is not cheap.
