One of the best in town

Peak hour reservations are almost impossible but if you walk in and nothing is available you can always get the same food at the bar.

Despite the many great restaurants in New York City, this is still one of my favorite spots. Chef Michael Romano was one of the first chefs to popularize the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients from the farmers markets in NYC. He comes up with great combinations of flavors. If you fall in love with a dish, you can recreate at home with their cookbook. Try the Ribollita (a Tuscan soup) - very soothing on a crispy day and the warm roasted bar nuts are to die for!
