Male / Los Angeles, CAGrab a beer...
We tend to hang at rock n roll dive bars like the 3 Clubs. It's nice to go out and hang and drink and do just that without any of the additional frills and fancies..if you see us out, we love Jack and coke;)

Female / Los Angeles, CAHow could I not like the place?
My dad built it -- it was connected to Knight's Restaurant, and some fine jazz musicians played there.

Male / 35 / Los Angeles, CAOne of those places that I loved to go to until swingers came out in 96, but the coast is clear and is by far the most comfortable bar for me. So dark you can barley see your drink or company perfect for those SHADY nights. Be nice to the older door guy Rick with the long hair at the door and look for Gabe, he is the worlds best bartender!

For a Hollywood club -- good music, but can be a bit crowded.

Three Clubs has been around since back in the "Swingers" days - and the space holds a place in my heart because my grandfather owned it waaaaay back when it was a restaurant called Knights. Family trivia aside, it's a down and dirty bar that has two different rooms (and a bar in each to accommodate you heavy drinkers who hate to wait). Both sides have ample seating (with some areas big enough for groups - so call if you have an occasion and want to reserve some space), but one of them has a dance floor if you feel like busting a move. Child of the '80s that I am (was?), I love channeling my inner Molly Ringwald to Blondie and the Go Go's and Oingo Boingo at their Friday night '80s dance party. (Check the website for other nightly music - they have rock and hip-hop and live bands, too.) There's a pay lot if you pull through the strip mall parking lot just north of the joint, or I've had luck finding street parking on Lillian Way (the street just west of Vine, north of Melrose) - however, you might not want to walk that walk without a buddy.
