You might need earplugs and have to pay a lot for parking, but the Viper Room books a lot of good bands and the ambiance inside is one of the more chic you'll find in LA.

If any one is free tommorrow, one of my favorite bands in Long Beach, ON BLAST is performing at the Viper Room on 4-29-09. Great band, a mix between the Gorrillaz and Portishead and rock!!

The upstairs has great shows and a really cool vibe. If you can get a booth that's the best. Downstairs is always a whole other event with it's own DJ's. It's much smaller and usually less loud. One time we ran into a shirtless Iggy Pop.
