The Inside Word for The Kitchen

If I could eat every meal here I would. This place is awesome. Everything they use in their kitchen is locally grown or purchased, which makes it really special. The decorations are minimal but they suit the space so well, it makes it really pleasant to be there. They have amazing wine and cheese as well which is a personal favorite of mine.

The food here is simple and delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great! I love going in the summer and sitting outside right on Pearl Street to people watch.

I literally could eat every meal here. The brunch menu is incredible. For a good vegetarian option, try the chickpea stew with an egg on top. Great coffee. Lunch and dinner, great options. If you have a large party they can customize a menu for your party and serve courses in family style. Ask the sommelier to choose your wines for you.

Seriously. Don't miss the gnocchi. Hand rolled, little tiny gnocchi. Fabulously prepared, the sauces/dishes change with the season. My personal favorite is the wintertime pesto with kale. Simply to die for.

Better vibe upstairs, with mostly tapas menu. Larger, excellent menu downstairs if you want more.
Lots of wine choices with a gererous pour.
Great for a date, or a crowd.

My first visit was for a ladies and it was just as great as I had heard. It's simplistic and extravagant all at once. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, like you're sitting in an old kitchen with wood furniture that, if could speak, would tell a thousand stories. The food is delish. Fresh, clean, simple and the staff is kind and helpful.

The Kitchen Upstairs is a perfect place to go for some delicious wine. Happy hour is from 5:30 to 6:30 everyday where you can choose from the fleet of wines, or by the glass, as well as their savory appetizers. Don't miss it!

Male / Denver, COMy Favorite Restaurant -- The Kitchen
The Kitchen is my favorite Restaurant for a lot of reasons: simple, non-pretentious atmosphere; staff who remembers your name and your favorite table; "The Kitchen Upstairs" bar with best beer menu and a lighter menu offering for any night of the week; the best, simplest (in a refined way), french-inspired, locally sourced cuisine I've encountered; family-style dining options that allow you to connect with people in the community who enjoy good food as much as you do; and the list goes on...
