They have the outside pool area with a wave pool and beach. You can’t beat that. The bar area is so great. It has a top and lower deck and an adult section. The hotel in general is just really nice.

The Best Hotel in Vegas

It's nice - it's not corny like Excalibur where there's a slot machine everywhere. It's a really good hotel with huge rooms.

I want to feel like I'm sitting at my home when I'm staying in a hotel. And THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay makes me feel like that. If you're in a hotel room and you don't want to leave it - especially in Vegas - you know it's a good place. Plus they have 24-hour room service.

Top three in Vegas

I really like this hotel when my family is with me, though I don't recall ever seeing other families here. It's very Miami Beach, each room is a suite with two spaces, excellent Spa and pool area, endless options for entertainment at the expansive Mandalay Bay including shops, a great burger bar on the Shops corridor, as well as a place to get a shave when you are on the way to the poker room.

Stay here, they have enormous rooms, a wonderful spa and you're extra close to the casino. I really like the Mandalay Bay but The Hotel kicks it way up. The restaurant/bar on the top floor of The Hotel has a great view of the entire strip.

Great Vegas hotel for kids

This is a great vegas hotel - it shares the Manadalay Bay wave pool and "beach area" - and the rooms are decorated much more Viceroy or W like - not gross Vegas at all. There are great restaurant choices - our kids love the all-american place and my husband loved the tv's with sports on there. I loved having a starbucks right off the lobby inside the building.
