But it's the most intoxicating place I've ever watched a basketball game. You go here and you basically watch people watch the game. Basketball is all about showtime and what have you, and Staples is a superb spot to watch the Lakers playing a big time NBA playoff game.

I really love it. Playing here the first year it was open in 1999 and winning a championship with the Laker team that season – my last NBA championship – is something I’ll always remember. It’s also a great place for events. I’ve been in the suites, and I’ve watched from courtside. I’ve seen events from different aspects, and they’re all great.

Male / Los Angeles, CAToo many good times had here to even remember. Top quality arena. The Lakers. The concerts. Food and alcohol at every turn. Avoid the upper deck at all costs. You might as well be watching from home if you're stuck way the hell up there. Parking is gonna cost you here. The closer to the arena you get, the more it's gonna be. Pay the premium, you'll be glad you did. Beat that traffic!

The Lakers play there, enough said, lol.....but it's a great venue, a lot of cool concerts and shows are done there as well. Oh and I heard the Clippers play there too :)

LAKERS. LAKERS. LAKERS. (Okay, and Clippers, too. And KINGS! And Avengers and Sparks.) Great venue for concerts and sports alike, but really this is the Lakers' house. What can beat watching Kobe and the gang play top notch basketball with Jack Nicholson? Pretty good selection of concessions and enough bars to keep everyone happy - if you're on a level that serves the parmesan fries, get them (but make sure your date eats them, too, because they use a ton of garlic). Eat dinner at The Palm or grab a cocktail at the Figueroa Hotel before the game or concert.
