So Nice

This hotel is SO nice. Tucked into a little corner of Boulder where no one would recognize it's luxury from the outside, this hotel offers it all. It has a great bar, extremely tasty restaurant and very comfortable rooms. Not a bad way to go, especially when you are right next to all of Boulder's best bars and night clubs.

I love this hotel, especially for the lobby and the small but hip bar. The rooms are good sized with very large bathrooms and typically good views of the Flatirons. The concierge desk has always been extremely helpful getting reservations and providing transportation. Don't hesitate to ask. The spa is a wonderful way to treat yourself after a hike or mountain bike ride.

Be seen

Go for live music on the patio outside on Fridays with $5 Gold Coin margs and $7 Greygoose martinis. Bring cash for the outdoor grill and arrive early for first come seating. When it's cold, sit in the lobby near the fireplace and order apps. The T Zero bar inside also has a good after work scene - feels very posh.

Friday Night

Go here on Friday night and enjoy the outdoors with the mountains in the background. They have a great happy hour on tonic drinks and wine as well as live music and outdoor grilling for less than $10. You can't beat that, plus you want to be seen here, it's so classy!

This is the life!

Terrific location in the middle of the city. Wonderful beds, luxurious linens. Fabulous spa services. Restaurant was equal in both ambience and quality of food.

Definitely the nicest place to stay in Boulder. Also a great place to eat breakfast or grab a drink.

My Boulder Home

Just because I moved away from Boulder doesn't mean I don't frequently need a place to stay there anymore. My love for the St. Julien can be illustrated by the fact that after a two-month trip to Africa, my girlfriend and I went straight from the Denver Airport up to Boulder to the St. Julien to 'refresh' before heading back up to the mountains. It's expensive, but sometimes, it's necessary.
