Sports Museum of America

Truly the first of it's kind!

The Sports Museum of America opened in Lower Manhattan as the nation's first and only all sports experience! It boasts 19 galleries chock full of interactives, original films and awesome artifacts. This is the only place in the world that a fan can actually touch the original Heisman trophy. Some other highlights include World Series trophies, NBA Championship rings and Jimmy Johnson's actual NEXTEL cup winning car. Definitely leave at least 1 1/2 hour to see all that SmA has to offer-you won't regret it! And at $16 a ticket, it's only a bit more then a movie.

Cool place

I went to the sports museum for an event for work and I really liked it. They had a bunch of stuff from different sports, but as a Yankees fan my fav was getting to see the 96 world series trophy. It's definitely a place I would take my dad or friends from out of town when they come to visit.
