Indie Rock Heaven

Spaceland has to be one of the best places to see up and coming bands in Los Angeles. Cover usually isn't too bad and the band go on late enough so you won't have to worry about missing them if you work in the industry.

Also PBR is only 3 bucks on draft. That's pretty hard to beat...

The place to be!

When people from other parts of the country picture what people in California are doing tonight, they close their eyes and see the shiny comet curtain flashing by the most diverse and up-and-coming acts in town here at this classic echo park/ silverlake area club. NO STREET PARKING though so if you plan on drinking, just walk! The staircases in the area provide convenient footpaths all over town! Also, free on Monday nights !

Good shows. I'm one of them there "Indie-Kids" I guess.
When it's packed... like sold out... avoid the smoking room... it gets so bad in there it's like trying to escape from a burning building.
If the "Tamale Man" shows up... BUY ONE! It's worth it... I swear.
