Old school Miami in the Grove

Laid back and on the water, Scotty's is a great local's find. Bring your dog, grab a bucket of Corona's and focus on the breeze (when you can find one!).

Scotty DOES know

This is a great place to go in the evening hours when the suns going down and you just want a drink or beer to relax after a long day. Try to grab a table closer to the water, but they fill up fast. Best place to come with a group of friends to grab a bucket of beer, some snacks, and enjoy the scenery. It's walking distance to the heart of Coconut Grove, so it also doubles as a way to kick off your night out.

Laid back spot

Scotty's is great. I can bring my dog, sit out on the water, drink a beer, and enjoy food that isn't ridiculously priced. This is a place that I always take friends when they are visiting Miami

Good hang-out.

Always laid back. Well not always, sometimes you can see how hurried the staff seems to be when the place is standing room only.
The food is good and quite inexpensive.
You can't beat the view either.
And there is live music on the weekends, Be sure to catch Kevin Hurley on Sundays if you like a bit of the classic rock and roll tunes mixed even with a few newer ones.
During the rainy season bring your mosquito repellent. I didn't see Deet anywhere on the menu.
