Famous L.A. hiking spot

This is the best place to hike when it’s not smoggy. It's easy to get to once you park. One minute you’re in the city and the next you’re in the mountains. It's beautiful.

Awesome views of LA...the off trail track is heaps more challenging than the pave trail, for Dale anyway....Good workout with massive scenery in as backdrop.

It's pretty, it's breathtaking, and then you get a little exercise. It's a fun thing to do in Los Angeles. Not on the weekends because it's just way too crowded and you won't find parking. But mid-morning on a nice day, you get to see the Hollywood sign, you can look all the way to downtown, sometimes you can even see the ocean when it's not smog-filled LA. It's cool.

I like to hike here with my friends when I need a quick workout, and need to remind myself that pretty much everyone else in Hollywood is more attractive and in better shape that I am.

LA Hiking

Great place to go on a hike right in the middle of LA. You can either go up the paved path or up the "off road" trail to the top. I recommend the road less traveled...
