The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel Opened in 1927 Its 15 million dollar renovation sparked a revival on the Hollywood strip and it still stands proudly near Mann's Chinese Theater. I received a copy of the L.A. Times newspaper on the door every morning.Two ghosts are said to haunt the place. If you go to Walt's place you can see a ride called the tower of terror that looks like the place.

The location of thousands of important hollywood events and the sole and singular reason I tried joining AA that one time, this wonderful hotel that is peppered with bars and restaurants is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of Marilyn Monroe.
