It’s such a nicely manicured course. From the back tees, it’s very hard, and from the other tees, it’s also very challenging. It’s one of those courses you see on TV, and when you see it in person, it’s just as amazing.

I was lucky enough to play here...ONCE! One of the nicest courses I've played. It's a hard course with short fast greens, so bring your "A" game when you come to play or you could embarrass yourself badly.
P.S. This course if Private, so you will need to know someone who is a member.

If you tracked the Golf Digest contest around the low handicapper who played the US Open course at La Jolla, a week before the Open, you would have a sense of how I felt shooting from the back tees at Riviera. A humbling but extraordinary experience. Surreal golf course and just plain tough.
