Pretty modern. It has a Four Seasons feel but a little better, and I like where it is. This place is private. They don’t bother you here. It doesn’t feel like you’re in a hotel. It feels like you’re at home, and that’s what I like about it. The rooms are gorgeous.

Besides its great location (on a residential drag of Beverly Hills, walking distance from the main business area), what I love best about L'Ermitage is its relaxing, minimalist style. Think light wood, clean lines, beds on platforms and spare decor that is more soothing than stark. If you are hosting a big event (or if you just roll this way), then book their 2-bedroom Presidential Suite, which has a grand piano, an awesome formal dining room perfect for a hotel-catered dinner party, a jacuzzi-tub in one of the bathrooms, a separate "family room"-style area to watch TV, and stunning views from the balconies. I also love the rooftop pool (very chic) and their cozy Writer's Bar off the lobby. And your friends don't have to pay through the nose for parking when they visit you here - because they don't charge for valet!
