The Park South is a boutique hotel on 28th Street beween Park and Lex. The location is right near the Metro stataion so you can get to Brooklyn or the Bronx in minutes. The East Side Gramercy neighborhood is quiet and safe at night with any kind of food within two blocks. Thai, Indian, Sushi, Italian, American, Vietnamese are just a few places I have eaten. Need essentials? There's a deli and Duane Reade drugstore withinn a block. The hotel is clean the rooms vary from efficient to fancy. They have free breakfast that's good and free internet.
