This place is great! It is owned by Gavin Degraw--and though you might catch him chillin' at the bar, probably you will just enjoy a beer and the amazing live music (sometimes country, sometimes rock n' roll or blues and jazz!) and meet some new people....o and unlike most of the other bars on the lower east side, this one has no cover usually :)
