There's always confusion when talking about this place to newcomers. This tucked away spot, with no sign, is a true Denver staple and the patio is awesome in the summers!

Great onion rings and the cream cheese/jalapeño combo on the burgers is a spicy treat.

I felt like I was finally allowed to be a Denverite when someone let me in on My Brothers Bar. The JCB is delish.

BURGERS and Jim

So I finally ate there last weekend and met the owner Jim who is a sweetheart. He offered to wait with me at a table until my friends arrived and he told me all the good things on the menu to order.

Everything comes ala carte, so if you like the works on your burger, it can get pricey. But it comes out wrapped in paper served on a tray with pickles, onions, peppers and relish. The patio out back is a great lunch spot.

And there is no sign on the building and I don't think there will ever be one. The bar is named after Jim and his brother.

My Brother's Bar

You like burgers dude? Go to this joint. Cream crease and jalapenos.....on a burger? Yes indeed, frickin' crazy good. Plus they have a large array of beer that will make you feel just right.

If you like a good grilled cheese, you gotta try the Nina - it's fantastic

No Kahuna Burger

All their other burgers are damn good. Very close to the Cherry Creek Bike Path & next door to REI.

JCB baby

A great neighborhood burger bar. No TV's in this bar, which makes it unique and totally gives it an old time neighborhood feel. I always get the JCB! (Jalapeno Cream Cheese burger). And then I usually get another because it's so good.

A burger and a beer on the back patio make for a lovely summer evening. And they sell Girl Scout cookies!

Awesome patio, a very classic atmosphere, a great place to go and hang out with friends. One of the oldest bars in Denver (they were open during prohibition).

Zeitgeist without the bikers

Great place to sit outside on a warm day and have a cheap, excellent burger. Good beer selection, old style pub inside. Staff is very friendly.

If you've been to Zeitgeist in SF, it's very similar feel but without the motorcycle crowd.

great atmosphere and fun people. every time i go in here i meet someone new at the bar and we have an interesting conversation :) delicious fries and some intriguing live music as well.

Nice for a summer night out

A must do in Denver. It's the oldest bar in denver and serves the best burgers in town. Sit outside in the beer garden and enjoy Denver's awesome weather. Or hang out inside where Jack Kerouac and Cassady used to drink!

Love it.

I like this place because they don't have a sign, doesn't have pretentious bartenders or customers or prices and they have, without a doubt the best burger in town. Nice patio too.
