The line will be outside and they'll be serving bloody mary's to people. (Many people in New Orleans, after they've gone out, they need that.) The breakfast is off the charts. Doesn't matter what - it's greasy and it's big and it's good. So if you find your way to New Orleans, and you've got time and you've stayed up all night, go to Mother's.

When you're ready for the 3,000 calorie breakfast complete with good ol' "cat-head" biscuits, bacon and eggs you've got to check this place out. You won't get the soft treatment here - expect some stern lines like "what can I get ya?" and "move on down". New orelans version fo the Soup Nazi I guess...but a neat experience.

They were handing out menu to people waiting on line outside of the restaurant to speed up the process.
Awesome Po-Boys (Sandwiches) for oyster, baked ham, roast beef, soft-shell crabs and fried shrimps. I didn't have a chance to eat breakfast there, but I am sure it is as greasy as everything they serve--greasy but good.

There will be a line outside but it is worth it for the best po' boy you've ever had.
