We've seen them all, but every time they change the exhibits, we make a trip back to check it out.

Female / New York, NYThe Met is great
I live in NY and go to the Met often. It is so large and has so many different sections that I find it hard to see all at once. Nice location on Central Park too for a walk in the park.

Male / 22 / New York, NYGreat in the summer
This is one of my favorite places to cool off during the hot summer. Also, the "pay what you can" policy means it won't break the bank. once it closes, the day is cooler, and you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy central park.

Male / New York, NYOne of the best in the world
This museum has the best collection of art and artifacts. It is spacious and airy, excellent lighting and design. Special events all through the year. Good evening hours for Fri and Sat.
Only that Sat & Sun are crowded, unless you get there early.

Female / Louisville, COIt's easy to spend an entire day in this place - you feel as though you're travelling through time of entire civilizations. The richness and details of the costumes and artifacts are out of this world and I love seeing the brush strokes of my favorite painters up close. The roof top cafe has amazing views!

Actually, they do request some money to see this behemoth of a museum, but the Met is loaded with money from private benefactors and you can just plunk down a couple of quarters if you're especially strapped for cash. See naked Greek people! Georgia O'Keefe's vaginal flowers! Peruvian gold! A Chinese moon-viewing garden! And then have a hot dog on the outside steps. You've earned it.
