Hoagie Heaven

I know there's an "original" location somewhere in Philly - but the 40th & Walnut location was closest to my apartment when I was a student at Penn and it was where I ate (or got delivery from during snow storms) on a regular basis. This is the kind of place where - a year after I left Penn - they still remembered my order. Build your own sandwich with whatever ingredients you like (I'm a turkey hoagie girl) but be sure to add the oil - I'm not sure what's in it, but whatever it is elevates a Lee's Hoagie beyond what you get from other sandwich shops. I also love their vanilla milkshakes.
