Last Concert Cafe has a very bohemian feel to it and serves good food. They also have live music. Nice place to go and kick back.

When the door closes to this former whore house turned TexMex Grill and Live Music Venue, it locks. So, just knock and wait for someone to let you in. Great live music during the week from acts ranging from Greatful Dead tribute bands to My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. Check out their annual Watermellon Festival and the seasonal Praia Urbana electronic dance music parties for some unique Houston fun. My favorite item from the menu is the Octavio's enchilada platter. Beware the killer jello shots!

Top Ten

This has to be my favorite music venue of all time. No competition. I saw Jah Roots (an amazing reggae band that just broke up) and a couple other reggae/ska bands here, and can't imagine a better time.Delicious mexican food (the nachos are great), sand for the crowd, beach-feel picnic tables, and really strong margaritas for easy friend-making.
